As of this morning this screenshot has been making its way around message boards. No one can find a source, and there isn't any information on it. Just this screen shot.
Do you think it's real? I personally hope it's real, but I'm being held back by the lack of reliable source, Nintendo's history of secrecy, and how high quality the screencap is. Given the plummeting sales of F-Zero since X, would Nintendo even BOTHER with a sequel? And on the DS instead of the Wii (that desperately demands more "hardcore" titles)? But more importantly, how could it possibly be far enough into development for them to take screenshots of it without even a hint that it's in development?
We promised you big, and big is what you're getting.
Introducing...
Epica is Game-Spin's fourth major revision, theme-wise. A nearly complete overhaul of the color scheme, buttons, and images were made to bring Game-Spin into 2009 with a fresh, more professional theme.
Featuring a bright/dark contrast color scheme, Epica brings to G-S a sleeker look that should appeal to new and existing members for the time to come.
If you notice any default images appearing, please note that Epica's graphical overhaul is still in process, but will be full completed very soon.

Anyone who has paid attention to the Wii hacking scene lately is sure to be aware about the multiple ways of which ISO loading is possible. Users can choose to use modchips, or select from a variety of software-based loaders. However, a new name in the crowd, FlatMii, is a product which supposedly allows you to stream ISOs over USB 2.0 from your PC to your Wii.
Here's what the author(s) have to say on the FlatMii:
Quote:
"We are proud to announce our new wii device named "FLATMII" and introducing a new concept of the wii use.Flatmii doesnt require any kind of soldering, clip or software modification for installing . No modchip is required, flatmii is a simple
Plug and Play device and the installation only needs a few easy steps .
Share any wii supported format from your PC using Highspeed 2.0 USB protocol . Play or emulate anyone of your stored Wii/Gamecube image discs . Forget about problems like newest drive chipsets including EPOXY or D3 ,Dre's or long and noisy disc loadings
You can even use your Wii without a Wii DVD drive or with a faulty or damaged because it's not required
for the FLATMII use
Official webpage is http://www.flatmii.com , it includes full features, picture of the product ,videoinstallation tutorial and Video Demo links"
As there are no official resellers of the FlatMii yet, there is a YouTube video available demonstrating the product:
Whether or not this thing is legit is unknown, as we will have to wait for resellers to pick it up. Until then, stay tuned.
Hey folks, Sponge and Xire here to let you know to hang tight with the graphical changes as we approach the end of the year. We've been testing out our new skin we'll release on New Year's, so for the time being, we have some temporary graphics and colors put up as placeholders.
So for now, bear with us as we try to ready things up for the new skin, and don't be surprised if you happen to stumble upon more G-S maintenance or downtime.
With the recent release of the ever-so-hyped PlayStation Home for PlayStation 3, users have found that at the software's current state, it's not all it's cracked up to be. The primary reason for this is the numerous amount of bugs which have been discovered within a matter of days. Not a very good impression from the guys over at Sony.
Most of the bugs which have been reported include frequent disconnects/lockouts (possibly server stress), disappearing items, and even simple item placement glitches, such as this one, posted by GigoByte:

So.. I just came on in the summer house thing.. doing up the appartment (as you do) and I thought it would be fairly..'funny' to see what would happen if I made a rubber duck fall from the highest hight it could go.. I tried it out, and it fell through the house into some mercury-like water xD
As for Sony's response, multiple patches have already been released, but some upgrades actually trigger even more glitches. Those who have installed the latest 1.04 patch noticed all of their Reward Items are gone. Sony states that it is a bug, but the items are not gone. Only "invisible".

We just want to assure you that we are aware of the issues affecting users post 1.04 update. We know that many of you are experiencing problems with the furniture arrangement in your Club Houses and that some reward items have temporarily disappeared from your inventory. Rest assured that we are looking into these errors and will be in communication when the necessary fixes are in place.
